Orwell Barn

A Suffolk barn sleeping two adults. This luxury, dog-friendly self-catering holiday cottage is in the heart of the rural Suffolk countryside

It’s the right hand side of our semi-detached barn. It’s got a really sweet enclosed garden, catching a lot of the daily sun. It has a patio and BBQ overlooking our feature waterfall

All our barns are perfect for romantic, cosy weekends, with or without a dog. The woodburner is a real bonus during the colder months! It has a huge ceiling rising up from the lounge, to the mezzanine bedroom. Ground floor shower room and a fully fitted kitchen diner with some lovely old antiques giving Orwell Barn a real rustic feel

A bit more information ....

Orwell Barn is ‘dog-friendly’ with a private, enclosed garden, as are all of our cosy, romantic cottages. We normally accept one or two dogs but we’re happy to discuss another with you. We even leave a dog treat as well as a delicious local breakfast basket for the humans!

Orwell has a living area downstairs with separate kitchen and bathroom with a mezzanine bedroom similar to Alde & Gipping Barns.

The Barns nestle into the mature trees around the pond and water feature to create a peaceful little environment to relax in.

Each Barn has its own enclosed garden area with a patio, BBQ and seating for eating outside and there is also a lovely communal decked area overlooking the pond for when you feel sociable or just want to enjoy the sunset.

The Meadow is down a pretty country lane just outside the little Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal.

There are lovely walks and cycling straight from the Barns and the pretty Suffolk Coast is just 30 minutes away.

Orwell Barn; named after the river Orwell, is a traditional style Suffolk barn with black weatherboarding and massive Oak trusses and beams and oak flooring.
