Where Do We?…

Having grown my Holiday Cottage & Barge business here in sunny Suffolk I wanted to produce an online Tourist Information resource for my guests to find out where to go and what to do in the county, ahead of their holiday and whilst they are staying with us here at Woodfarm House & Barns, or on one of our Woodfarm barges, whether it’s a short-break or a well deserved holiday.

We provide loads of Tourist Information in welcome folders when you stay with us, but most people like to browse online now. So we dreamed up the idea of somewhere for you to search for “Where do we eat & drink?”, “Where do we take the dog?”, “Where do we walk?” etc etc

The idea then blossomed into being a free service to anyone looking at ideas for visiting Suffolk, even if they’re not holidaying with us. We hope you find it useful.

Please, please, please do feel free to contribute ideas if you own a Suffolk business or have enjoyed visiting somewhere or something.

The shrewd browser may notice that the only places under “Where do we Stay?” are mine. There are of course other Holiday Cottages and Barges in Suffolk but if you are looking for the ideal luxury holiday place for a romantic break or a family celebration that happens to be very dog-friendly, with Quality in Tourism Gold Awards for everything, Hundreds of Five Star reviews on Tripadvisor and Facebook, press coverage in The Times, Dog-Friendly Magazine and on ITV, and based in the heart of the rural Suffolk countryside then look no further.

I’m hardly going to promote anyone else’s place am I? I may be helpful but I’m not stupid!

Woodfarm Barns

Woodfarm House sleeps seven adults, plus toddlers and all six of the holiday cottage barns sleep two adults, plus toddlers. All have fully enclosed gardens with patios & BBQ’s. Five of the barns have their own Private Hot Tub.

We also have a fully enclosed two acre meadow for dogs to run around and meet each other!

We welcome three dogs in each Holiday Cottage & Barge
